GTT has introduced that it has acquired an order from its accomplice the Korean shipyard Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries for the tank design of three new LNG carriers, on behalf of an Asian ship proprietor.
GTT will design the tanks of those three vessels, which can every provide a complete cargo capability of 174 000 m3 and will probably be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, developed by GTT.
The supply of the vessels is scheduled between 4Q26 and 4Q27.
