Hyundai LNG Delivery has began working an LNG bunkering vessel.

The vessel, constructed by HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, was named ‘BLUE WHALE’ on 10 Might 2023. Korea LNG Bunkering (KOLB), a subsidiary of Korea Gasoline Company, is the shipowner. KOLB was chosen for the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Power’s ‘LNG Bunkering Vessel Building Help Challenge’ in 2020 and ordered the vessel with a authorities subsidy of KRW 15 billion, and took supply of the vessel after about two years of development.
