Neom’s Oxagon signs land lease with AHG for $160m industrial gases plant | Gases


Neom’s industrial city Oxagon has signed a land lease with Saudi industrial gas provider Abdullah Hashim Industrial Gases and Equipment (AHG) to develop an industrial gas production and distribution facility.

The SAR 600 million ($160m) plant will produce green oxygen, nitrogen, argon, and hydrogen. AHG plans to develop the site in multiple phases, with construction scheduled to start in February.

AHG will begin by building the essential industrial gases infrastructure, offices, warehousing, and distribution capabilities and hopes to get this element operational in late 2026.

Work on the plant’s later phases will begin in 2028.
