Elena Scaltritti, currently Chief Commercial Officer at Danish technology firm Topsoe, has been appointed President and CEO from 1 June.
She replaces Roeland Bann, who steps down after six years.
Scaltritti joined Topsoe in 2022 and has been responsible for growing low-carbon and renewable fuels alongside conventional business. Previously she was Executive Vice President at Songwon Industrial Group.
Jeppe Christiansen, Chairman of Topsoe, said the next couple of years “will be defining for Topsoe” with large investments in innovative technologies and solutions ready to be scaled.
