Long helium market ‘can deliver for space sector’ | Helium

The boom in space exploration can be met by the current plentiful supply of helium and the sector remains small compared with more established segments, a leading consultant explained today in a gasworld exclusive space-themed webinar. Envision Energy has commissioned what it claims is the most advanced green hydrogen and ammonia production facility in Chifeng, China. Powered entirely by the largest off-grid renewable energy system, the plant, located in Chifeng Net Zero Industrial Park, is also the first of its kind to be fully artificial intelligenc e-enabled, achieving real-time optimisation and stability at scale. Set to deliver 320,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually, with exports commencing in Q4, the facility represents a leap forward in clean energy and industrial decarbonisation.
