Air Products’ General Counsel has stepped down in a move that some commentators have suggested could be the first departure of several under new CEO Eduardo Menezes, as he seeks to reshape the company. A company filing stated that Sean Major had resigned as General Counsel and Secretary effective 11 July, with a successor due to be named at a later date. Major was appointed to the position in 2017, reporting directly to former chairman, president and CEO Seifi Ghasemi, who was ousted by investors this year, citing concerns over his clean hydrogen strategy.
