Industrial gases major Air Liquide and Hyundai Motor Group have reaffirmed their intention to drive hydrogen development by establishing key hubs in Europe, the US and South Korea. The collaboration expands beyond mobility to include infrastructure, logistics, and clean energy solutions. The renewal of their Memorandum of Understanding was announced at the Hydrogen Council CEO Summit in Seoul this week. UK grid investment allocates £20m biomethane funding and aims to cut industrial bills | United Kingdom

The UK’s energy intensive industries could see bills fall by around 10-to-15% following a £28bn grid upgrading investment which includes £20m funding for biomethane. Most of the funding (£17.8bn) will go towards maintaining Britain’s gas networks. The approved investment will fund 80 transmission projects and associated works nationwide over the next five years.
