NYK completes first ship-to-ship transfer of liquefied ammonia | Ammonia

Shipping line NYK has completed a ship-to-ship transfer involving 23,000 million tonnes of liquefied ammonia. The transfer, off the coast of Ceuta in Spain, involved the ammonia carrier Berlian Ekuator, owned by NYK and time-chartered by Mitsui & Co, and ammonia carrier Eco Enchanted, operated by Trammo, an ammonia trader.
