Green steel on the move in US and Middle East | Hydrogen

It’s been an important week in green steel, with market threshold and certification moves in US and the Middle East. Sweden steel producer SSAB’s first near-zero CO2e steel with hydrogen-reduced-iron has met International Energy Agency and First Movers Coalition thresholds. The green steel will be available for use in US energy equipment business GE Vernova’s onshore wind towers.
