UAC gets US approval for hydrogen transport trailers | Hydrogen

Norway-headquartered gas storage specialist Umoe Advanced Composites (UAC) has received special permit approval from the US Department of Transportation (DOT) to authorise its hydrogen transport trailers for the US market. The approval covers UAC’s 350 bar multi-element gas containers, which use Type IV glass fibre composite vessels for high-pressure hydrogen storage and transport.
