Hydrogen from biogas would be used in South Korea’s mobility sector Hydrogen from biogas would be used in South Korea’s mobility sector US-based Utility Global and South Korea’s Hanwha Corporation are to carry out a Pre-FEED (preliminary front-end engineering and design) study for a hydrogen production plant using biogas generated from South Korean wastewater treatment. Utility Global will look to deploy its H2Gen system at the wastewater plants, if the initial design work is successful. Hydrogen produced from biogas is slated to be used in South Korea’s hydrogen-powered mobility sector and other clean energy applications.
