Australia’s energy giant Woodside has signed a long-term sale and purchase agreement (SPA) with China Resources Gas International Limited, a gas distribution company owned by China Resources Holdings, to deliver liquefied natural gas (LNG) to China. ABB, Charbone plan 15 North American green hydrogen sites in five years

Under a signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the companies have agreed to connect Charbone’s inaugural plant in Sorel-Tracy to the Hydro-Québec grid as a first move. The facility, scheduled to go live by the end of Q2 2025, is intended to serve as a blueprint for future projects and will produce around 400kg of hydrogen in its first phase.
