Air Liquide raises €500m through green bond to support energy shift | Finance

Air Liquide has raised €500m ($543.5m) by issuing a green bond to finance or refinance key energy transition projects in the low-carbon hydrogen and air gases sectors. It comes as the French industrial gas major’s third green bond after it issued two €500m raises in 2021 and 2024. The latest raise was said to be “oversubscribed” by investors and was undertaken through the firm’s Euro Medium Term Note (EMTN) programme.
