Johnson Matthey opens hydrogen internal combustion engine facility in Gothenburg | Hydrogen

Sustainable technologies firm Johnson Matthey has opened its first hydrogen internal combustion engine (H₂ICE) facility in Gothenburg. H2ICE will test emission control systems and strengthen the company’s profile in heavy-duty vehicle testing capabilities. The new facility includes an on-site hydrogen supply & storage area with compressor and intermediate storage tank, hydrogen supply and storage up to 413 bar, hydrogen flow meter and analyser, plus exhaust measuring instruments, and all appropriate control, sensing and safety systems.
