Western Australia launches $60m funding round for hydrogen and CCUS | Hydrogen
The government of Western Australia will provide up to AU$60m in funding for various clean energy and decarbonisation projects as part of the federal government’s New Energies Industries Funding Stream. The stream will be made available as part of the government’s Investment Attraction Fund. Projects that are set to benefit from the funding include those focused on critical minerals processing, renewable hydrogen, green iron and steel, and carbon capture, utilisation and storage. The first round of the programme allocated $60m to five projects in 2024.
