Norwegian oil and gas company Aker BP is set to expand its footprint in the North Sea and Norwegian Sea by obtaining stakes in two hydrocarbon discoveries, betting on tie-back potential around existing infrastructure on and near the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS).
